Full event details

The City, University of London Taster Session gives you an insight into studying law at the University. The Session includes a presentation about what you will study on the law degree, an opportunity to meet the academics that will be teaching you, and to gain real insight into what it is like to study law at City, from current law students. There will also be a sample law lecture, giving you a real taste of one aspect of studying law.

This taster course is open to year 12 students or anyone who is thinking of starting their undergraduate studies in September 2019. Students should be aiming to reach the required entry requirements of 128 points from the new UCAS tariff (typically ABB or BBB with an AS Level or a relevant EPQ). We welcome applications from students with a combination of qualifications e.g. 'A' level/BTEC.. BTEC: DDM; IB: 29 points including 6 in Standard Level English Language. In addition: GCSE English Language and Mathematics; Grade 4.

When applying to this taster course you will be asked to submit in no more than 150 words why you are interested in studying this subject. You will be selected for this event based on your answer.
