City's Taster Days and Sessions are for current lower sixth, year 12 students. They will provide you with a unique insight into degree-level study.
They are in the style of mock lectures, practical workshops and group work sessions designed to introduce students to a variety of academic disciplines.

This event is designed to help you obtain a good understanding of what you will study on one of our Mathematics degrees here at City University London. You will get an overview of the courses and learn details about some of the modules that we offer. Staff and current students will be available during the session so that you can ask any questions that you might have. The event also contains an interactive workshop designed to give you a taste of the kind of Mathematics you would be learning with us and how it is being taught.
This taster course is open to year 12 students or anyone who is thinking of starting their undergraduate studies in September 2018. Students must currently be studying mathematics at AS/A level or equivalent.
When applying to this taster course you will be asked to submit in no more than 150 words why you are interested in studying this subject. You will be selected for this event based on your answer.
