City's Taster Days and Sessions are for current lower sixth, year 12 students. They will provide you with a unique insight into degree-level study.
They are in the style of mock lectures, practical workshops and group work sessions designed to introduce students to a variety of academic disciplines.

Speech and Language Therapists work with a wide range of people with communication impairments. During this Taster Day at City, University of London, you will have the opportunity to explore how a Speech and Language Therapist can change a person's life by helping them to develop or regain their ability to communicate. This taster course is open to year 12 students only. Students should have, or be looking to achieve the following grades; A Level ABB or BTEC DDD - Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care or Science-related subject. All students require a minimum of five GCSE passes at grade 4 (C) or above, including English and Mathematics.
When applying to this taster course you will be asked to submit in no more than 150 words why you are interested in studying this subject. You will be selected for this event based on your answer.
