More specifically we will look at 4 different types of inequality: (i) Income inequality between households. (ii) Inequality between wage and profit earners. (iii) Differences in the level of income between countries. (iv) Equality of opportunity or equality of outcome? During the lecture, we will discuss the empirical, theoretical and ethical issues that arise from income and wealth inequalities.
