HYMS offer a Medicine Discovery Session for Y10/11 students, aiming to introduce GCSE students to Medicine at HYMS, including an introduction to problem based learning and clinical skills. They also offer talks on 'Thinking about Medicine'.

Sessions from the team at HYMS are designed to give students an insight into medicine as a future career. Students can take part in a variety of activities to develop their understanding of medicine and enthusiasm for science. HYMS sessions often include problem-based learning and clinical skills – great news for passionate scientists!
Also available is a 45m talk from the HYMS Team about 'Thinking about Medicine' for Y10/11 Students, to give them an insight into different career paths and requirements.
