Full event details

This Study Day is ideal for students who would like to go on to study Biology at University. After an introduction to the course and laboratory equipment, you will take part in interactive activities in our labs, working alongside Aston University’s academics. Focusing on Molecular Biology, you will be able to extract DNA from cells and use this in a series of experiments, such as detecting DNA on Agarose gels.

You will also get the chance to speak to our academics about studying Biology at university and the application process.
