This presentation gives an introduction to higher education, outlining the benefits of further study. It gives a general overview of university study and life, and addresses some of the common concerns students may have.

City's general university talks are designed for teachers to book for their year 12 and 13 students to support their transition to Higher Education. The students should ideally be expecting to meet the City University, London entry requirements for their chosen programme.
We can deliver these talks either at your school or at City as part of a Visit to City (see more information on these here: http://www.city.ac.uk/for-school-and-college-liaison/school-visits
). We are also happy to mix and match talk topics where possible - please email us with your requirements.
This is a free service and most sessions last between 30 minutes and one hour, although it is possible to alter the sessions depending upon the needs of the school/college.
