Religion and Ritual in Prehistory
Afternoon Session: 1pm – 4pm

The study of religion and ritual in the past is a fascinating and significant topic in understanding our ancestors. In this event we will introduce the topic and showcase new research. The workshop will discuss how archaeologists think about strange artefacts and monuments. The talk will be followed by an opportunity for hands-on study of the kinds of artefacts and evidence which archaeologists use in the study of past ritual and belief.
