The 1970s and 1980s saw a flourishing of politically radical theatre in the UK; from Theatre-in-Education to Socialist Theatre to performances that explored cultural, gender, sexual and disability identities.

In this session Danny Braverman will explore the work of some of the pioneering artists and companies of that era and, working interactively with students, explore what lessons we can learn if radical theatre is going to be effective in the current climate.
