By offering a comprehensive overview of the religious, cultural, narratological and political impulses that shape the book, the class will ensure that interested students are ideally placed to write original and erudite essays about this exciting new book.

The masterclass will identify the major themes and symbols found in McCarthy's text, will steer students towards original and rigorous close analysis of the text, and will provide a list of topics for further study.
