This session will explore the 2016 US election paying particular attention to the issue of race. We will consider the extent to which the Trump election was a victory for anti-politics. We will also analyse the racist, and sexist, propaganda and the 'white's rights' narrative that underpinned much of the Trump campaign and consider what this means for the future of civil rights and civil disobedience in the US.
