You will take a tour around our newly refurbished and extensive laboratory facilities finding out how they are used to support your learning, our research and industry to gain better understanding of problems such as construction of new train and escalator tunnels and how deep excavations interact with the surrounding buildings of London and elsewhere.

You will get involved in fun activities such as designing, building and testing a model bridge before getting feedback from a Civil Engineer about how it failed and what could be done to improve your design.
