Full event details

The workshops are designed to explore key theoretical principles relating to each topic and its application in the social world. The workshops will involve interactive elements which include group work, debates and applying real life scenarios to the topics explored.

Workshop 1- A sociological focus on understanding the experiences of tourism.

Workshop 2- A criminological examination on the effects of imprisonment on family and children of prisoners.

Workshop 3- Media: representations and stereotypes. Focusing on Gender Stereotypes in advertisements across all forms of media content.
