Our Subject Taster Days give students the opportunity to find out about subjects they could study at university and the careers to which they might lead. Students work with experienced staff and current students from a variety of academic disciplines, taking part in lectures, practical workshops and group work sessions.
By attending this taster day and taking part in this programme students will be able to find out about the range of opportunities that are available within the health and social care sector. They will attend a subject taster session with an academic where they will hear about that particular profession and get involved in a clinical skills development session or topical debate.
Students will also take away with them information about the courses available at Edge Hill as well as tips and advice on applying for the various courses and preparing for interviews.
This event is free of charge, includes complimentary lunch and is open to post-16 students.
