This masterclass will provide an introduction to Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technologies, which allow paralyzed people to communicate without speaking but by means of brain signals only. Brain signals are modulated and translated into commands to drive a speller, a wheelchair or a robot, totally bypassing muscles and nerves. This class will shed light on the importance of technology to support disables in their daily lives, and on the importance of multidisciplinary research
