An UMASS on campus activity for students in Year 12

The UMASS team will be running a workshop in July to help you write those all-important UCAS Personal Statements. A workshop will take place on 26th July to help you decide what the content of your statement should be, and ways in which you could structure it.

Each workshop will last approximately two hours and will introduce you to some of the factors admissions staff at the University look for when deciding which student to make an offer to. The workshop will look to cater for all audiences; those of you who haven’t started writing the statement yet, those of you who have some ideas together, and those of you who have a full draft completed.

In each workshop, there will be a member of the UMASS team alongside a selection of The University of Manchester’s Student Ambassadors. Our Ambassadors are current students who will be there to talk through their experiences of applying to Higher Education courses and will be at the event to advise in the workshop element of the session.
