SOAS is the only university in the UK where you can learn a major sub-Saharan language (e.g. Hausa or Swahili), combined with cultural expertise as part of a BA degree.

In this half-day taster programme you will explore the languages and cultures of Africa through workshops and lectures delivered by renowned experts in the field. You will also have opportunities to ask questions and find out more about the study of Africa at SOAS.
