SOAS is the only Higher Education institution in Europe specialising in the study of Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East. Uniquely combining language scholarship, disciplinary expertise and regional focus, it has the largest concentration in Europe of academic staff concerned with Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

In this half-day taster programme you will learn about some of the languages and cultures of South East Asia during workshops and lectures delivered by renowned experts in the field. You will also have opportunities to ask questions and find out more about the study of South East Asia at SOAS.
