Introduction to Geography at QMUL: Explore, discover and engage. This course will provide a taster of what studying Geography at Queen Mary University of London is like, including sample lectures and workshops with other students and members of academic staff.

Students will have the opportunity to explore and discover how geographers are helping us to understand and tackle global issues around climate and environmental change, globalisation and development, health and inequality, political-economic struggle, activism and social change. There will also be an opportunity to visit the School of Geography and Queen Mary's campus, as well as the physical geography laboratories.
The course will be of direct relevance to AS and A2 studies in Geography and Environmental Science. It will also be of interest to those studying other subjects including the sciences (physics, chemistry, and biology), history and sociology.
