Full event details

This is a free one day event that gives students the opportunity to learn about particle physics from the scientists that are actually doing the research. This masterclass is supported by STFC, the research council that funds particle physics in the UK.

The day will include lectures from UK particle physicists. There will also be a computing session where students will be able to run simulations of LHC experiments learn how to find the mass and identity of particles and maybe even find a Higgs boson! Lunch and refreshments for teachers and students are also included.
