Viola Day

You are warmly welcomed to participate in the annual Canterbury Christ Church University Viola Day in St Gregory’s Centre for Music, North Holmes Road, Canterbury.

This is an opportunity to indulge in all things relating to the alto clef! Lots of ensemble playing, the chance to hear for the first time completely new music especially composed for the occasion and to join in playing it, a masterclass, a chamber music concert featuring well-known and not-so well-known music and time to ask questions about any aspect of the viola.

It is a day that I always look forward to and I hope you can come along to share enthusiasm for our beloved instrument!

Places for the day are £16 for adults and £8 for students, and all players aged 11+ and Grade 5 or above are welcome.
