Business Class Inspiring Future Careers and Employability Day

University event offered by Higher Horizons+

Event Summary:

There has never been a more important time for young people to get impartial help and advice about their future jobs and careers.

Full Event Details:

Young people need to be motivated to fulfil their potential, and inspiring students through real-life contacts with the world of work can help them understand where different choices can take them in the future.

The large-scale exhibition at Keele Hall for Y8 and Y9 will see representation from further and higher education institutions, and businesses, aiming to provide young people with an opportunity to engage with them and ask any questions they may have. The day aims to be as interactive as possible, with small tasks and games for your young people at each stall.

Visit higherhorizons.co.uk to find out more and book exciting new outreach initiatives for your school.

Higher Horizons+ has been funded by the Office for Students for the next two years to deliver collaborative outreach in target areas of Cheshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire. The Programme aims to encourage young people to think about their future educational progression and double the number of young people from under-represented groups progressing to university by 2020.

How much will the new Outreach Activity cost your school?
All activity delivered by Higher Horizons+ is funded by the government, via the Office for Students, including transport costs. We also have bursaries available to help cover the cost of cover supervisors in school when you attend our outreach events off site.
