Aimhigher UniFest 2016 at Birmingham City University

Students will experience fun and interactive sessions in the creative arts, with an opportunity to focus on either Performance or media and Design. There will be an exciting and inspirational mix of practical sessions, lectures and team projects. Participants will also work closely with university arts students to hear at first-hand what study and life at University is like. Student will stay in a city-centre campus, and social and team building activities will give students the opportunity develop their inter-personal skills, gaining in independence and confidence.

This event is one of 7 offered as part of the Aimhigher West Midlands UniFest programme for disadvantaged Year 10 students from regional state-funded schools. A contribution of £50 per place is required from participating schools, most of whom link UniFest to their Pupil Premium funding.
