This regional higher education event will allow young people, advisers and teachers to visit a university campus ahead of UCAS fairs, open events and applicant visit days. The event will also allow year 12s to attend seminars which would prepare them for their entire university application process.
Aimhigher West Midlands’ ‘Higher Education - Make Your Move’ event will take place at the University of Birmingham on Wednesday 13th April 2016. This daylong event will allow young people, advisers and teachers to undertake essential preparatory work in advance of the main round of UCAS fairs and open days. The seminar programme aims to prepare year 12 students for the entire university application process.
The event will give students and advisers the opportunity to explore application strategies and tactics with representatives from major regional universities, expert seminar speakers and student ambassadors.
All of Aimhigher West Midlands' partner institutions will be attending, to view a list of these organisations, follow this link:

The seminar programme will include keynote deliveries on a variety of important areas which include but are not limited to: applying to higher education, student finance, preparing for university, personal statements (the preparatory work) and routes to the professions.
We anticipate high interest in this event so we are only able to take bookings from teachers and advisers of year 12 pupils who study at state schools in the West Midlands.
