Full Event Details:
Teachers can make a huge difference to their students' learning, and using evidence has a direct impact on grades. In this session, Learning Manager Sophie Park from The City of Liverpool College will examine the top three influencers, and how to utilise them to improve learning in the classroom. Sophie will explore the evidence, where it comes from and how it can be applied in the classroom.
This session is ideal for NQTs to long serving teachers who, through a shared best practice approach want to create a strategy for improving teaching and learning in their classroom, school or institution.
The evening will also feature a talk by Rebecca Clarke from Balancing Access, a network of 24 Universities and Colleges looking to support teachers to help their students gain access to selective courses and institutions. Rebecca will give a brief talk on the evening before asking for feedback from attendees to help shape the Balancing Access programme for teachers and schools.
