Full event details

Our popular Christmas Lecture for students/teachers/public will be held on Tuesday 1st December 2015 at 7.30pm in the Large Lecture Theatre, Poynting Building.

Tea, coffee and mince pies will be provided from 7.00pm in the Tea Room of the Poynting Building.

This year's lecture will be delivered by Professor Cristina Lazzeroni on 'The Strangeness and Beauty of Anti-Matter'. The lecture is free of charge but a ticket must be booked in advance.

There is a total of 300 tickets available. Once a ticket is booked online you will receive a confirmation email; you will need to print this and bring it with you on the day.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to allow entrance to the Christmas lecture without the printed confirmation email. Ticket availability is limited to one per person; block-booking is not allowed on the system. If you are a teacher please encourage your students to book their own tickets on line.
