Aimed at prospective Year 12/13 or prospective mature students, the day will be suitable for anyone considering a BA(Hons) Textile Design degree (or related subjects) and will offer an insight into university life and what textile design is.
Full Event Details:
Students will get the opportunity to explore different textile processes such as printing, jacquard weaving and embroidery.
We hope that you will have something to take away for your portfolios and will have fun and leave with a clearer idea of your future choices. We will be able to answer your questions about UCAS forms and Student Ambassadors will be on hand for the questions you don't want to ask teaching staff!
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Please wear sensible clothing as you may be printing or using sewing equipment.
Please also bring money for lunch (£4.50 should be plenty for a hot meal and a drink or there are plenty of places to sit and eat your own food).
