This Health Taster Day will give students a taste of studying courses related to health and social care at university. You can choose two sessions from Nursing, Midwifery, Radiography, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work and Working with Children and Families (subject to availability).

Bookings by Teachers for Key Stage 5 (Students aged 16-18)
Individuals (Enquiry not required to be through a school)

Full event details

The day runs from 10am till 2.30pm and includes a welcome, a choice of taster sessions from the list above, a break for lunch, and Q&A session. The taster sessions are designed to be interactive but also to inform students about the entry requirements and work experience needed for each course.
Places on the most popular sessions - such as Nursing and Midwifery - are limited so we will ask you to pick your first, second, third and fourth choices of session prior to attending.
As well as school and college bookings, individuals are also very welcome.
