Full event details

Students will be introduced to the wonderful world of wearable art. Jewellery can be
interpreted in many ways so initially students will be able to consider the question ‘what is jewellery?’. There will be an introduction to examples of contemporary jewellery and an opportunity to explore a handling collection and be inspired by shapes, textures and the broad range of material which can be used in the production of jewellery or body art. This will be followed by the chance to design a piece of jewellery and a practical workshop to experiment with a range of mixed media to create an individual piece of wearable art.
*All materials will be provided.
