Full event details

This session will highlight the modern advances in engineering in the second
decade of the 21st century. Engineering is a professional discipline which is recognised
and respected across the globe just like medicine, law and accountancy. We will
highlight the importance of Engineering and how it helps to sustain and grow the
local, national and the global economy. The session will demonstrate the integration of all aspects of engineering from conceptual design, prototyping, manufacturing through to volume production. Products detailed will include how artificial limbs are manufactured and how the Formula Student race car is designed and manufactured from scratch in less than six months.
