Full event details

Open to students from primary and secondary schools, year 6 – 9 in teams of 5 (maximum of 15 students per school - 3 teams).The challenges will include programming robots, researching and producing a presentation, and presenting to a team of judges. Students will be introduced to basic programming software and guided on how to use this to programme a robot to undertake various challenges. They will also develop their presentation skills, vital in all STEM careers. This event will provide an exciting day for pupils interested in STEM subjects and acts as an introduction to the First Lego League (FLL), the South East Regional Final of which is hosted by the University of Kent.
