Higher Education Advisers’ Conference


The event will provide staff with a great opportunity to enhance their knowledge on developments within Higher Education.

The schedule for the day will include updates on the UCAS tariff, assisting widening participation, advising on finance, the importance of placements and voluntary work and also a showcase tour of Newman and some of our exciting new courses.

Newman University is a single campus university based in Birmingham, founded in 1968. We have two Faculties: the Faculty of Education (FED) and the Faculty of Arts, Society and Professional Studies (FASPS). Every undergraduate degree at Newman University involves a compulsory work placement. This is usually carried out in the 2nd year of the degree and is a key factor in the high employment rate of our graduates.
