Full event details

Taking place at Aston University on Wednesday 14th October 2015, 11am - 3pm.
Led by Dr Steve Russell, your year 5s and 6s will spend a few hours on Aston University campus, taking part in some exciting biology-based activities.
We hope that the following activities will fuel your student's interest in sciences and education more generally:
A practical workshop with all students having a go at isolating DNA.
A session examining the microscopic world using the facilities at the University.
An opportunity to chat to current university students to find out what university and student life is like.

Due to safety restrictions, we are only able to accept groups of up to 15 students from each school for this event.
We also suggest that it is most appropriate for students within your Gifted and Talented cohort.
