There’s so much to see and do at our Open Days. Here are a few suggestions of what to do and when…

Make your way to the main entrance where you will be greeted by our staff at the main entrance

Collect your Open Day guide and map of the campus

If you have pre-registered simply sign in at the registration desks. If you haven’t, don’t worry, you will just need to fill in a registration form

Collect your free bag with the latest prospectus and plenty of useful information

Talk to tutors at the individual subject desks. Each subject will be represented within the main hall. You are free to walk around and pick up any literature from subjects that you are interested in. Course tutors will be sat at the desks, so you can have a chat and ask any questions about the specific courses

Meet a guide at the tour meeting point and explore the whole campus, or pick and choose which parts you’d like to see. One of our student ambassadors will show you around whenever you are ready

While you are exploring the campus, go along to as many ‘have a go’ activities as you want. These are a great way to get a taste of your favourite subject. Past activities have included laser cutting (3D design) and bandaging for minor injuries (Health & Social Care). You’ll also get to meet some current students and get a feel for the rooms you will be learning in

Enjoy some refreshments

Return to the hall and ask our student services advisers all of your questions, such as whether you might be eligible for financial support, how to get to College from your home and how to apply for a place on a course

Ready to apply? We have application forms and staff on hand to assist you in applying on the night – simply head to the Learning Resources Centre. Or you can take the information away with you and apply online when you’re ready.
