Do you think that with all the scientific knowledge we now possess there should be no need to ever experiment on animals? Do scientists have the freedom to just perform any experiment they think is interesting on an animal? Does information gained from animals actually help? This masterclass will help students think about the issues involved in animal research ranging from ethics to legal through to interpretation of experimental results and extrapolation between species.
