Hosted by UCL. Come and spend a day in the Electronic and Electrical Engineering Department.

Full Event Details:

Our Taster Course is open to all prospective undergraduate students who are interested in engineering and it consists of talks and practical group activities in our laboratories. You will meet current students and have the opportunity to talk with lecturers. The programme is designed to provide you with first-hand experience of university life within an engineering field.

Duration: One day (9.30am - 4pm)

Subject area/s: Electrical Engineering,Electronic Engineering,Engineering

Course Requirements: This taster course is open to students in year 12 and 13 or anyone considering starting their undergraduate studies in September 2016. We particularly welcome students currently studying A-Level Maths and preferably Physics.

The Taster Course Programme provides year 12 sixth form students with a taste of what life at a university in London is like. Through your chosen taster course you will experience the different teaching methods used by university academics and gain an insight into the additional facilities available, whilst meeting students from across the UK.

All our taster courses are free to attend and you can choose a course from a variety of subjects taking place at the numerous participating universities. Courses range from voice and drama, to medicine and nursing, to computing and business.
