Full event details

These inter-connections are continually being remade between humans and their environments and between distant strangers. From the financial crisis to global environmental change, geographers seek to make sense of this interconnected world in an effort to change it.

The taster course consists of lectures and workshops. The topics to be covered include: climate change, volcanoes and geohazards, geographies of development, geopolitics, cultural geography, reconstructing environments, information technology and global communication.

Duration: One day (10am - 4pm)

Subject area/s: Geography

Course Requirements: This taster course is open to year 11, 12 and 13 students or anyone considering starting their undergraduate studies in September 2016
