Full event details

Expert lecturers and current students will deliver a variety of sessions during a busy day at the School of Mathematical Sciences, giving you a fantastic insight into university life and study. From finance to fractals, from the real world the the weird and wonderful this varied course will provide prospective students of mathematics with an excellent overview of this fascinating subject.

PLEASE NOTE: After you have submitted your application, we will email you within 5 working days to ask you to write in 150 words, why you are interested in studying this subject. Students will be selected for this course based on their answers. Once we have received your 150 words, we will let you know as soon as possible whether or not your application has been successful.

Duration: One day (10.15am - 4pm)

Course Requirements: This taster course is open to year 12 students or anyone considering starting their undergraduate studies in September 2016.. Students must be studying Maths at AS level (or equivalent) to attend the taster course
