Monday 22 June
Finance making a company tick

Introduction to the key financial concepts of an organisation. This event is aimed at students who have no or little previous financial knowledge. The experienced team will introduce these concepts in a straight forward non-technical way.


Monday 22 June & Tuesday 23 June
Sensing and Non-Sensing with the Arduino

You will take part in a hands-on session where you will learn how to build an interactive system using the Arduino microcontroller board and a range of sensors and actuators. There will be some simple electronic circuits to build and also some straightforward but sophisticated programming. Perhaps you will choose to make your own touch screen or hook-up a small robot. There will be tons of possibilities to choose from; both success and having fun are guaranteed!

Economics at the heart of Business

Economics is at the core of business and the economy. This day will explore some of the topical economic issues often reported in the media.
