Skills For Tomorrow open to school groups on Thursday 4 & Friday 5 June 2015. This FREE event is for schools in Worcestershire and Herefordshire and is suitable for all curriculum subjects at KS3 (Years 7, 8 and 9). Also offering CPD opportunities for teachers and careers advisers.
Spaces are still available at the Skills For Tomorrow event on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 June 2015. This FREE event is for schools in Worcestershire and Herefordshire and is suitable for all curriculum subjects at KS3 (Years 7, 8 and 9).
The event will be held at the Riverside Building, University of Worcester and will run from 9.15am – 3.00pm. Schools are expected to attend for the whole day.
The Skills for Tomorrow 2015 event will bring together expertise from the University of Worcester and local businesses to provide a highly engaging, interactive opportunity for secondary school pupils to learn about the growing career opportunities in a low carbon, environmentally sustainable economy of the future.
Students will be encouraged to explore the challenges and career opportunities associated with issues such as responsible energy usage, ethical food production, sustainable construction processes and environmental stewardship through a combination of workshop participation and engagement with professionals in the exhibition hall.
