Full event details

The AEP is for Year 12 students from the West Midlands region who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. This free programme consists of a five day residential programme together with ongoing support the following year, and is aimed at supporting students to secure a place at research-led universities.

Students will stay in University halls of residence and have support from current undergraduates. They will attend interactive lectures relevant to their academic interests during the day and there will be a full social calendar in the evenings.
There are four academic streams to chose from: Health and Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business.


AEP is open to students from the Greater West Midlands region (including Northamptonshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire and Oxfordshire).

The residential runs from Monday 24th to Friday 28th August 2015.
Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Applications close 20th March
