Subject Taster Days at Liverpool Hope are designed to give students a taste of university study and provide them with new information and ideas about their subject. Our lecturers provide sessions over the course of a day covering a range of interesting and relevant topics. These sessions are aimed at students undertaking Level 3 courses such as A2/AS Levels, BTECs, International Baccalaureate, Access courses, or equivalent qualifications. In addition students will also be able to go on a tour of our campus and find out more about student life from our expert team.

Students who have recently participated in our Subject Conferences have said “It gave me an insight of uni life” and “it was really interesting and engaging”.

We are currently offering Taster Days in the following Subjects.


Wednesday 17th June
Media
Students will consider how music can shape the way films represent the world, informing how any given scene makes sense as well as getting to conduct a news room simulation

Thursday 18th June
Psychology
This will feature conversations on Clinical & Health Psychology as well as Optimism and the main theories within personality.
