University of East London Experience Day aimed at Year 12 students at the new University Square Stratford Campus
An opportunity for students with an interest in performance and Applied Theatre as a career -to discover study at higher education

An opportunity to completely immerse students in Applied Theatre and Performance studies at the University of East London, London's leading university for Civic Engagement.
Aimed at first generation higher education year 12 students, currently studying potential progression courses such as Drama, English and Performance at A level and BTEC. Although any year 12 student with an interest in theatre is welcome to attend.
The day includes: drama workshop; creative writing workshop; observation of Urban Interventions session with current UEL students and; an opportunity to quiz students on their experiences at UEL.
The learning outcomes of the day are:
- to raise awareness of the progression opportunities applied theatre can bring in terms career development
- to experience higher education and understand the value it has for students considering careers in the theatre
- to experience university student life
