For UniTasterDays independent school and college workshop bookings a deposit of £100 + vat will be requested which will secure the date and your event. This session deposit will be deducted from the final balance, which will be invoiced after the session.

Cancellation policy (including a request for an event to be rearranged)

We understand it may be necessary to rearrange or cancel your session. Unfortunately as sessions will still incur planning time and expenses incurred, the below cancellation policy will apply:

  • If you cancel or re-arrange the date of your event or activity, with four weeks’ notice or more, no fee will be charged, and your deposit will be moved to the new date or returned to you.
  • For cancellations, or events re-arranged with greater than one week of notice, but less than four weeks of notice, your deposit of £100 +VAT will be charged.
  • For cancellations, or events re-arranged with seven days’ notice or less (but greater than 24 hours), 50% of the session fee will be chargeable.
  • For cancellations, or events rearranged with less than 24 hours’ notice, 100% of the session fee will be chargeable.

For cancellations by UniTasterDays

Regrettably, it may be necessary for UniTasterDays to cancel your booking. Should cancellation be required, as much notice will be provided as possible, to the UniTasterDays contact for the booking. Any session fee payable, as well as the session deposit will be subsequently refunded within 7 days. UniTasterDays will not be liable for any additional costs for sessions which are cancelled.
