Swansea University has been ranked as the 12th University of the year in the WhatUni Student Choice Awards 2023.

In the prestigious Guardian University Guide 2024, we have risen 20 places in the last 5 years into the UK Top 30, now ranked at 25th. We have also been ranked Top in Wales (Guardian 2024). The Complete University Guide placed 19 of our courses in their top ranks for 2024. Complementary Medicine has earned 1st place, with Paramedic Science ranking 3rd and Childhood & Youth Studies regarded as 4th place in their fields.

We place our students the heart of everything, to help them prepare for their bright future ahead. As a result of this, HESA 2022 found that 93% of our graduates are in employment, study or in other activities.

In terms of student life and experience, our students have voted us 6th place for Student Life (WhatUni 2023) and continue to maintain our Purple Flag status for vibrant and safe city nightlife. All of our services can be arranged to fit in with school or college timetables, or evening events for parents, and are free of charge. We are also available to appear at higher education or careers fairs.
