The Flood and Coastal Engineering FdSc and BSc have been developed in partnership with the Environment Agency (the Agency) and Local Authorities to address their need for flood engineering professionals.

The courses are sponsored by the Agency, and includes fees, placements, professional development programme and summer school, leading to exciting career opportunities. The academic programme will be delivered by Brunel University London and HR Wallingford – the world–leading independent civil engineering and environmental hydraulics company.

During the Open Day you will have the opportunity to learn about the academic structure of the course, and how you can proceed from the foundation programme right through to the MSc and becoming a Chartered Engineer. You’ll also find out more about the unique features of this exciting new programme, such as the training placements, summer school and professional development, alongside the full tuition fees sponsorship and strong future career prospects. There will be the opportunity to have a light lunch and speak to some of our students and academics, followed by a presentation by the students on their placement at the Environment Agency.
