In November, a new US President will be elected, and will take up office on 20 January. The Masterclass will review the election campaign and the transition period, in order to identify the new President’s political stance and his/her priorities during the first 100 days in office – a grace period in which the new president will be allowed to get the administration organised and to the initial legislative programme underway with little political opposition. This is an opportunity for the new President to set the tone for the following four years
