The session is designed to offer students a conceptual and interactive encounter with the world of economics of information. In the first part, students will analyse some key concepts in information economics and game theory, which is the study of multi-person decision problems. In particular, they will focus on gaming and strategic interaction, examining situations in which an entire group of people is affected by the choices made by every individual within that group. In the second part of the session, students will engage in a set of games such as the prisoners’ dilemma and sequential games.
