LJMU will be hosting a one day Foster Family Event, during May half term, offering young people and their carers the opportunity to experience what life is like at University.
Activities include:
• An introduction into the Higher Education experience
• Fun games tailored to both young people and their carers, including some outdoor activities (weather permitting)
• Hands-on taster sessions in one of LJMU’s many subject areas
• The opportunity to speak to current LJMU students about university life
• Speaking to our Care Leavers Co-ordinator about the wide range of support available to care-experienced young people studying at LJMU.
This event is TOTALLY FREE and includes all materials, lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
This event is aimed at pupils in Year 9-11.
